Losmandy’s venerable GM8, GM11 and HGM Titan mounts are mainstays of amateur astronomy, and now the Losmondy G8, Gll and HGM Titan RA and Dec assemblies are now offered as independent components, allowing you to match, for example, a GM8 Dec assembly to a GM11 RA assembly, or a GM11 Dec assembly to a Titan RA assembly, to create mounts with payload capacities that fill the gaps between the three longstanding GM8, GM11 and HGM Titan increments.
They provide the ability to upgrade your existing Losmandy mount for increased load capacity or get a new Losmandy EQ mount with up to 75-pound load capacity. In situations when you are in between mount payload capabilities, the new options make it cost-effective to invest in components that target those in-between payload capacities rather than to make the full jump to purchase a new mount.
